B i o g r a p h y

Elizabeth Mirandi, soprano, is originally from Long Island, NY and has recently moved to Castle Rock, CO. She graduated with a BM in Vocal Performance from the Crane School of Music in 2017 and studied under Deborah Massell and Kirk Severtson.

 

As a part of the Crane Opera Ensemble, Elizabeth portrayed Adele in Die Fledermaus, Princess Laola in L'étoile and Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte. She has also performed in Carnegie Hall as a soloist in Ralph Vaughan Williams' Serenade to Music under the baton of Maestro Duain Wolfe.

 

Over the years Elizabeth has traveled to Lucca, Italy, Steamboat, Colorado and most recently Mezzano, Italy for young artist programs. She has worked with Barbara Clark, Benjamin Wayne Smith, Dr. Reed Woodhouse, Soprano Xi Wang, Sharon Sweet, Beth Neilson, Andres Cladera, Dana Sadava, Sahar Nouri, Robin Blaurs, Arthur Fagen among many others. Most recently performing as Queen of the Night in Trentino Music Fesival's production of Die Zauberflöte.

When living on Long Island, NY Elizabeth has helped premiere newly composed works by Adam Weiser, David Lang, Adam Robert, and Morton Feldman. Most notably she performed on the NYC High Line in The Mile Long Opera by David Lang, where she appeared on a BBC's segment of the works opening night. During the difficult 2020 season Elizabeth was a second place winner in the Great Composers Competition in the "Art of Opera" division and made it to the District round of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.  

This season Elizabeth will have the privilege of performing live with Opera Colorado in their 2022-2023 season as a member of their chorus. She is excited for a busy season singing concerts with Opera Fort Collins and Fort Collins' Guild, singing with Colorado Opera on Tap and leading the soprano section for Central Presbyterian Church and performing in their upcoming Christmas Services.
